I can't log in. How do I reset my password?


Currenly, VisaLex supports the following languages:

* English

* Spanish

* Portuguese

**To switch a language in your profile:**

1. Log in.

2. In the upper right corner of the page, click on your name, and then select Profile from the drop-down list.

3. Scroll down and locate **Preferred Language**.

4. Select a language from the list.

**Important!** If you have already created an application, after changing a language you'll have to manually translate the information that you entered. Your answers cannot be translated automatically.


Configure email alerts to stay notified on your application changes.

1. Log in to your VisaLex account.
2. Click on your avatar in the upper-right corner and select **Notification Settings**.
3. Select the notices you'd like to receive to your email.

VisaLex keeps you posted on the recent changes and upcoming steps.


How to enable notifications?


Your VisaLex profile includes information about you: your name, shipping address, the phone number we can use to reach out to you, your preferred language, etc.

You can update your profile at any moment. For example, change your photo or add a new phone number.

**To update your profile:**

1. Log in to VisaLex.
2. In the upper right corner of the page, click on your name and select **User Preferences** from the drop-down list.
3. Make changes to your profile.

You can update data in your profile at any moment. For example, you can change your preferred language, phone number, or image.

### What is two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication is a two-step login process. Every time after entering your email and password, you will be prompted to submit a verification code sent to your cellphone.

### Do I need two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication provides an additional layer of security. Someone trying to compromise your account will have fewer chances to steal your data because the access to it is protected with two security tiers—a password that you know and a one-off 6-digit code that is sent to a personal mobile device every time you log in.

We recommend enabling this functionality, however, it's up to you to enable two-factor authentication to protect your personal data. 

### How to enable two-factor authentication?

1. Log in to your account.

2. In the upper right corner of the page, click on your name.

3. Select **User Preferences** from the drop-down list.

4. Scroll down and switch **Two-Factor Auth** to **On**. The toggler should become green.
  **Important! Before enabling two-factor authentication, make sure your phone number (**Country Code** and **Phone Number**) is correct and you have access to your phone.**

5. Select **Save**.

The next time you log in, you will be prompted to provide a password followed by a verification code. 

### How to disable two-factor authentication?

1. Log in to your account.

2. In the upper right corner of the page, click on your name.

3. Select **User Preferences** from the drop-down list.

5. Scroll down and switch **Two-Factor Auth** to **Off**. The toggler should become grey.

6. Select **Save**.

The next time you log in, you will be prompted to provide only a password.

**Note**: If you no longer have access to the phone number you specified in your user profile, please contact our Support team.

How to enable two-factor authentication?


**If you forgot your password:**

1. Click the **Forgot Password?** link under the login form.

2. In the form, enter your email address and click **Reset password**. 

3. Check your mailbox for the **Password Recovery** email from VisaLex and click the **Update Password** button.

4. In the **Update Your Password** form, enter a new password and click **Update**.

**Note:** A new password must be at least 8 characters long, include at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and a number.

Now, you can go back to the Login page and sign in with a new password. 

If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you will be prompted to enter a verification code when you try to log in with a new password. If you don't receive a code, contact our Support team.

**Note:** If you enter a wrong password several times in a row, we'll block your account for 30 minutes. Please retry later.
